What are Geomembranes?
Geomembranes come in a variety of materials, such as High Density Poly Ethelene (HDPE), Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC), Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCL's), Geotextiles, Geonets, and more. These synthetic materials are used to store or convey liquids or solids that must be kept separated from the existing soil. Examples of uses include Landfill lining, storage of mined ore for leaching, ponds/lagoons, secondary containment for tanks and pipelines, and more.
